Recycling

Recycling is arguably the most recognizable initiative of America's environmental programs because it's something everyone can do-at home, work, and school, as well as at stores and parks. By removing recyclable materials from the waste stream, we conserve natural resources, reduce energy use, and decrease emissions of greenhouse gases and air and water pollutants. Individuals can do their part by participating in the many Federal, State, and local recycling programs available. Please take a look at our links for details on these programs, applicable regulations, Executive Orders, and other guidance and information.
